A few 3D Photos from the NC Zoo.
You'd think the Zoo would be a great place to take 3D photos -- but it's harder than you think. The animals are either too far away to get any parallax for a 3D image, or are displayed in a dimly-lit environment where the el-cheapo cameras I used to make my 3D rig have no chance of capturing a usable photo, or the animals are in constant motion so they would be blurred and out of sync, or more often, all three. Still, I managed to get a couple of half-way decent shots. You can view them on my other blog BigLee 3 D.
